URLPathField

URLPathField stores a site path like /docs/intro. It is unique by default, capped at 200 characters, and normalizes values on save:

  • a missing leading slash is added: docs/intro becomes /docs/intro
  • a trailing slash is removed: /docs/intro/ becomes /docs/intro
  • the root path / is kept as-is

Validation​

Only letters, numbers, underscores, hyphens and slashes are accepted, and consecutive slashes are rejected. These validators are class-level defaults: if you pass your own validators, they are appended rather than replacing the built-in path validation.
